Those accepted into the internship program will have balanced personalities and an ability to lead others in the way of Jesus. Also, they will embrace and be able to effectively teach the orthodox Christian faith as understood in the light of Incarnational Trinitarian theology. Those who successfully complete the program will be considered for elder ordination and appointment as a pastor or church planter within Grace Communion International.

Teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. (2 Tim. 2:2, NLT) (Picture used with permission from Getty Images)
Are you a trustworthy man or woman who is hearing God's call to pastor an existing church or to plant a new one for Grace Communion International (GCI) in the U.S.? If so, a GCI pastoral internship may be a helpful next step.
These internships typically last 12-18 months and involve the intern in about 20 hours of pastoral work each week.
While paid internships are limited, volunteer ones are readily available. Candidates include college and seminary students seeking internships for class credit.
